When is the internship offered?
The internship is offered fall, spring, and summer
When can I start the SPMT 484 Internship?
All coursework must be completed prior to the start of the internship
How many credit hours is the internship?
The internship is 12 graded hours
How many weeks/hours is the internship?
The internship is 13 weeks and 520 hours. Students are required to stay in the field the entire 13 weeks and the minimum number of hours to complete is 520.
Can I wait a semester or summer between the SPMT 402 and SPMT 484 course?
No. Students are prepared in the pre-internship class to exit into the internship class the following term.
Do industry professionals engage with SPMT 402 students?
Yes, 3-4 industry professionals, seeking interns, speak to the class on 4 different occasions

Where can I intern?
The site must be approved by the internship coordinator. This will be discussed further in the SPMT 402 class.
